Jacobean Oyster Necklace - Travel and Transformation Pendant in Silver and Gold
My desire when creating jewelry is to offer pieces that not only beautify, but also resonate with the personal stories and journeys of those who choose them. An outstanding example is this pendant that imitates an ancient coin, with a golden edge and a Jacobean oyster standing out in the center. This shell, a distinctive symbol of the Camino de Santiago, is revealed in an elegant silver relief on oxidized black silver, symbolizing journey, transformation and spiritual connection. This pendant is an invitation to wear an emblem of your own path, uniting the beauty of the sea with the depth of your personal story.
The coin is framed by a fine silver hoop, delicately laminated with 24k gold. The finishing technique of applying gold, known as Keum Boo, provides depth and a subtle shine that complements sterling silver, culminating in a jewel of understated sophistication and irresistible maritime charm. In addition, two rings and the small ball that ends the spiral of the pendant are forged in 18k gold, adding a luxurious contrast to the piece. A talisman that will always accompany you!
